He has 17 years of experience in education and has served as Vice President and Director of the Secondary School. He has extensive experience in international teaching management and student development.
Kathy Chu
Vice-Principal of OAIE
She graduated from the English Department of Beijing Foreign Studies University and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Nottingham. She worked in Beijing New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. and has been the Vice President of New Oriental International College of Canada. She has been engaged in English language teaching for 15 years. In 2018, she joined the SXI inc, provided language test guidance to international students, and provided suitable application plans to help them enter the top private schools, and top universities in the United States and Canada.
Marianna Zakala
English Team Leader
Marianna has earned multiple degrees, an Honours Bachelor of English Literature at the University of Toronto and most recently obtaining a Master of Arts - Interdisciplinary Studies in Victoria British Columbia. Her vast experiences teaching ESL online, mentoring youth in Guyana, and working collaboratively with different Program Managers in the design, development, and implementation of Youth Leadership and Education programs in Ukraine and Moldova will translate into unique and diverse lesson plans in her classroom.
Cindy Ann Geevarghese
The Arts Team Leader
Cindy is an articulate and qualified Canadian-born English, History, ESL, Social Science and Business teacher. She brings a wealth of knowledge from studying at the University of Waterloo (1. Bachelor of Arts- General English Language Literature; 2. Bachelor of Arts- General History; and 3. Bachelor of Arts- English Language and Literature). She has also obtained her Masters of Integrated Studies-Specialization in Cultural Studies at Athabasca University in Alberta. Her high level of education and experiences will definitely allow for engaging lessons at OAIE.
Amirbijan Vahidkassiri
Science Team Leader
Amirbijan can be described as a critical thinker and problem solver. He is currently studying at Ryerson University (based in Toronto) to complete his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He has already obtained a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from Ryerson and brings to OAIE eight years of teaching experience in high school and university Mathematics based on the Ontario curriculum. Having taught in multiple schools based in Toronto, his organization and keen focus will surely elevate his students level of determination at OAIE!
Ali Eshtiyaghi
English Teacher
MA graduate in the English Literature and Philosophy. He has been teaching different high school grades from 4 to 12 and owns extensive experience in teaching ENG4U, ENG3U, ENG2D, ESLEO, ESLDO,ESLCO, International Business, Business Management, Business Administration, Business Leadership, History grades 10, 11, 12, Academic Writing and many more courses.
Hamid Khan
English and business Teacher
Hamid Khan teaches English and business courses at OAIE. He holds an MBA in marketing and has held teaching, marketing and management positions in his 20-year professional career both in Canada and internationally. Mr. Khan is a keen sportsman and has great interest in international cultures and languages.

Graduated from Brock University with Master Degree of Education. 5 years of teaching experience and prepared more than 100 students for the IELTS test. Professional knowledge of credit course of Ontario and successfully assist students to get offers from University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Western University, etc.
Nancy
IELTS Teacher
Nancy graduates from Cardiff University (UK) with Master in Education and Bachelor in Psychology; also she is certified by TESL Ontario. Working as an English instructor for almost 20 years, she has great experience in ESL, IELTS, ibT, TOEIC and other related aspects. In a very short time, she could discover students’ key problems in learning and offer targeted practice. Usually, students’ scores enhance significantly within two months.
Asma Khan
English Teacher
Asma Khan has been an English teacher for more than 20 years in Canada and internationally. She completed her Masters in English literature and a Diploma in English Linguistics Teaching (ELT) before joining an international school chain based in the Middle East, United States, Europe and Asia. She has taught English as a second language to adult students and has also taught English literature and Communication to undergraduate students. Ms. Khan loves teaching language and literature to students and has also worked as a student counsellor throughout her teaching career.
